Hey Guys,
I don't post a lot of picks on this forum, but LinesBreaker has been en fuego these past couple of days on tennis and NCAA. They went 5-0 today on tennis picks and 8-2 on NCAA, so I thought I would share the love:

Tennis
1. 7* Santoro +120 to beat Johnasson
2. 10* Sprem -175 to beat Peschke
3. 4* Parlay:
Verdasco -145 to beat Melzer
and
Grosjean -200 to beat Monfils

p.s. all lines are from BoDog
p.p.s. LinesBreaker.com gives you free picks on all sports for a month if you sign up with BoDog and refer them!

2 more tennis picks from LinesBreaker.com:

1. 6* Martin to beat Pashanski
Reason:
Alberto Martin will be delighted to play on clay again after scoring only one win in his last 4 matches. Martin should be upbeat, knowing that he made it to the semis here last year. He had a solid first round win over clay court Portas who had been playing for quite a while on clay in recent weeks. You will find that Martin does not often lose to players ranked behind him in the rankings on clay and I don’t expect it to be any different today. Pashanski is currently playing the best tennis of his career, breaking into the top 60 for the first time. Despite some good run of results in recent weeks, he has not stopped playing for the past 5 weeks, switching from the hard courts in Australia directly to clay. Matches against Martin are always very physical and tough. He may well finally feel the efforts from the recent weeks and his long first round match here should not help. Pick Martin.

2. 3* Ramierez-Hidalgo to beat G. Coria
Reason:
On paper Coria is the favourite to win this match. He is the second seed, playing at home and reached the final twice including the title back in 2004. No one can deny that Coria is going through some bad times at the moment, still looking for the form he had back in 2004 when he made it into the top 3. His lack of match practice on clay showed during his first round match against lowly Vanek, clinching the match only in the final set tie-break. He will have to do much better if he is to have a chance against on-form and well drilled clay courter Ramirez-Hidalgo. The latter has been playing on the clay for the past few weeks now, recording 14 wins in his last 18 matches on the surface. The odds are worth taking into account the questionable form of Coria at the moment. Pick Ramirez-Hidalgo.

Well, what do you know, another winning day from LinesBreaker!

If you guys took the pick, you would be up 1 unit, however since the parlay and the underdog won, you would have won considerably more. Let's hope today's picks can come through as well.

OK, another parlay pick is in.
1. 6* Stepanek to beat Mathieu
and
Santoro to beat Rusedski

Reason:

Stepanek to beat Mathieu

Stepanek’s season success heavily relies on his indoor performance. He is indeed one of the best indoor players on the tour. Overall his best results have come in conditions similar to the ones here in Marseille. The only two meetings that took place between the two players were played indoors. Stepanek won on both occasions. Stepanek had an impressive two sets win over another indoor expert Berdych in the first round. I expect him to build from that success to overcome a tired looking Mathieu. The Frenchman is yet to pull off some consistent results on the tour and he has never managed to confirm his terrific run indoors back from 2002. Clay and outdoor hard courts remain his favourite surface. Stepanek looks the strongest and most reliable player here. Pick Stepanek.

Santoro to beat Rusedski

This is Rusedski’s only second match on the tour this year since suffering an injury towards the end of last year. After an easy opening match against qualifier Thomann, Rusedski will now be truly tested against Santoro. He may well feel that the lack of competitive matches and match intensiveness will play a role against a fighter such as Santoro. The Frenchman is looking very positive here with his family around him. He has just won his 400th match on the ATP tour so it is in some ways less unnecessary pressure on his shoulders. His win over Thomas Johansson in the first round was a very encouraging one considering how tough the Swede is usually to beat indoors. All elements seem to go in Santoro’s favour at the moment; the home crowd, confidence, quality of play, family support and Rusedski’s probable rustiness. Pick Santoro.

The picks are only $5, and my 1 month all free picks pass is almost up. If anyone else is planning on joining BoDog, sign up with LinesBreaker to get their free picks for a month and then post in this forum. Thanks!

Though Martin just barely lost (won the first set and then lost the second in a tiebreaker), you still would have come up some cash had you taken Hildalgo as well, because he was such an underdog. I can't believe they called that upset!

Today's Picks:

1. 6* Alyona Bondarenko to beat Czink

Alyona is my pick to win this match. She has good memories of India, having made it to the final last year in Hyderabad before this tournament was moved to Bangalore. Bondarenko is a solid all round player who becomes very dangerous once she gets the momentum going like this week. She beat in her first round her sister Katarina before beating improving Rodionova in the second round. Bondarenko holds a 2-0 advantage in her H2H with Czink, winning the last one here in India last year. Czink can pull off some nice wins but too often she fails to keep up a high standard of play week-in, week-out. Bondarenko should be able to find the extra confidence from last year to get a third win against Czink. Pick Bondarenko.

2. 6* Santangelo to beat Fedak

Santangelo has already proven in the past that she can compete with the best, making the fourth round at the Australian Open a couple of years ago and has already beaten some top class players. She may not win many titles but she is one of the most consistent players in the draw, rarely disappointing against players ranked behind her in the rankings. She beat two tough players in her last two matches, dangerous Tanasugarn then aggressive Obziler. She was certainly more tested in her last two matches than Fedak was. The latter first beat Laine who suffered from Tonsillitis before overcoming lowly Lakhani. Santangelo is playing very well at the moment and should be able to build from her encouraging form. You will find the Santangelo plays her best in the difficult conditions such as the heat and humidity like here. Pick Santangelo.
